Pretty Pretty

With all the blogs and fun sites out there, I spend a lot of free time imagining what our dream home will look like.  Lately, I don't have a lot of free time.  But I definitely have expensive tastes.  Oops.  Anyway, this made my day when I stumbled upon it on The Southern Eclectic.  Such a pretty image!

I can't decide if I like the color scheme or the zebra rug better :)  I'm really into animal print right now.  Honey loves it too.  Not.

Brock and I are heading to Tampa to see my family this weekend.  I'll be spending lots of quality time with the parents and Morgan.  Honey is going down South tomorrow to play in the woods with friends.  I think we'll both have fun weekends.

Busy Busy

Honey and I are going to be super busy the next couple of months.  BUSY.  I am trying desperately to be a good blogger.  I really want to keep this up.  If I could stay awake past 9 pm on school nights it might help.  I can't.  

Check below for numerous new posts.  President's Day and all, no school, so I'm still laying in bed.  At 10:30.  Yay!

I'm going to see my sister next month.  My Uncle L's wedding.  Then we're going on our Honeymoon (finally) for Spring Break.  A wedding in April.  One in May.  My cousin's baby's christening in May.  A trip to Panama City for Memorial Day weekend with Honey's family.  Oh yeah, work in the middle of all those things.  Another wedding in June.  Then Beach Week!  SO.BUSY.  Can't wait :)

President's Day Weekend

We have had a relaxing & busy weekend, all at the same time.  I didn't have work Friday or today and I have tried not to rub it into Honey too much.  Tried.  Anyway, I took Baby B to the vet Friday.  First he rode in the truck Will's truck with me.  It was sprinkling, a little.

Then the vet told us B weighs 100 POUNDS.  I knew Honey would not be happy because he's had B on a diet.  Apparently it isn't.working.very.well.  The vet wasn't that concerned, I was much more concerned than her, & I think Honey is going to cut back even more on B's food.  Poor thing ...

Mad at me

We spent Saturday by the pool.  It was warm and overcast but we still got a little sun.  Then we went to a wedding last night in Port St. Lucie, two hours South.  One of my coworkers got married and I was happy to be able to go.  It was very windy but very pretty!  So happy for E & N :)

Now, I'm busy being unproductive at home.  I need to run a few errands but my bed, book, & computer are calling my name.  It's cold outside, the high is 67.  Much too cold for me.  I will have to hit the grocery today.  Guess I should cook dinner since I'm so busy doing nothing today! 

Valentine's Day

We had a low-key Valentine's Day this year.  Honey & I were both sick (me - cold, Honey - bronchitis).  I got an early gift, beautiful leopard shoes from Cole Hahn, in December.  I promised to wait & wear them until Valentine's Day but oops, I wore them last month :)  Anyway, Honey got a coupon book.  He's wanted one for a while and I think it was his best gift ever *points for me*. 

We had a fun day an experience at school.  I just tried to make it through the day.  And I did.  Barely.  I got lots of sweet things, heard lots of sweet comments, & survived :)  Can't wait for next year ... Maybe.

Cruisin'

I have been really good about not using my days off at work.  We have ten and I have only used 3 so far and have 4 more scheduled to use.  Very excited!  I'm using 2 to go see my sister at school and 2 more for weddings (which we have SO many to go to).  Anyway ...

Honey & I decided to go on a short cruise to the Bahamas.  Short being the key word.  We left on a Thursday and got back on Sunday.  We went on the Carnival Sensation and will not use that ship again.  We relaxed and spent quiet time together.  We didn't have good weather but we sure enjoyed our time away from home :)   Here's our cruise in pictures.
